When I cut fabrics, I love using those guys because I don't have to use pins any more. My teacher at college recommended to use them for students, and she bought bunch of them for us to use at a class room. I was very surprised when she showed us how to cut fabrics with them because I'd thought I had to use pins to cut fabrics all the time. Needless to say, after that I went to Home Depot to purchase bunch of them for my sewing at home. Of course, I still use pins for slippery fabrics such as lining fabrics though.

turtleneck shirts

I've just finished sewing a turtleneck shirts for myself. I wanted to have some unique details in it, so I made gather at neck line, bell sleeves and long length for the body. This material is also used for my son's hat and leggings. These days, I love to sew knit fabric because it's comfy to wear. I'm working on baby hats and leggings to make more by end of February, please check back to my shop.

seat cover

I made a seat cover for a new stroller. Because I want to reduce my fabric stock, I didn't go fabric shopping for it. I made an original quilted fabric using two kind of denim fabrics for right side and cotton fabric for wrong side. Actually, it can be reversible though:) I also made a blue bias tape. I had a hard time to sew a bias tape for holes for seat belts, but I made it!! I'm very satisfied with my work.

custom made skirt

I made a custom made skirt that has polka dots at random. It's easy to find ordinary polka dots', but this one has random dots that is unique. I was really lucky to find it at Peapod fabrics because it could be sold out soon. (They had bit of stock, 1 yard and 1/4".)So, I could get exactly I needed for the skirt!
Anyways, I got great compliments form a girl who ordered it. I was so happy and such a relief to hear that:)
